Your student is joining the ranks of one of the leading technological research institutions in the world \u2026 it\u2019s an amazing place made up of amazing people.\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003EThree years ago, we began the journey you begin this summer. The experience of seeing your student off to college is bittersweet, to be sure, but know that they\u2019re in good hands: the administration and faculty and staff at Tech take seriously the trust you\u2019ve placed in the institution, and they are committed to helping your student continue their academic success.\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003EOur son \u2013 who enters his fourth year at Tech this August \u2013 has grown and matured in remarkable ways. He\u2019s made new friends, traveled the world, and has become a member of a collegiate community that challenges him each day. Whether on North Avenue or during his two study-abroad semesters, these experiences are preparing him for a successful career and a life of service and accomplishment. He has become an independent adult and a serious learner. (And, yes, we are proud of him and grateful to Georgia Tech!)\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003EYou may be aware that part of Tech\u2019s recipe for success is parental involvement through volunteer service and personal giving. We invite you to join us in demonstrating your support through active participation in the Tech Parents Association.
