Ms. Pooyan is expected to earn her doctoral degree in materials science in December of this year. Professors Cyrus Aidun and Hamid Garmestani are her co-advisors. Her work won First Place Student Poster in Biological Materials Science Symposium as well as Best of 2012 TMS Show in All Graduate Materials Divisions.
