{"417621":{"#nid":"417621","#data":{"type":"news","title":"AE Student Brandon Makinson Named To ACC Swimming \u0026 Diving All-Academician Team","body":[{"value":"\u003Cp\u003E\u0026nbsp;The Georgia Tech swimming \u0026amp; diving program had eight student-athletes named the 2012 Atlantic Coast Conference Academic All-Conference Team.\u0026nbsp;\u003Cbr \/\u003ETo be eligible for All-ACC Academic Team consideration, a student-athlete must have earned a 3.00 grade point average for the previous semester and maintained a 3.00 cumulative average during the academic career.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u0026nbsp;\u003Cbr \/\u003EMakinson, who holds a 3.37 GPA in aerospace engineering, is a three-time honoree to the ACC\u0027s Academic All-Conference Team.
