His responsibilities recently expanded to include leading the Technical Operations division. In this position, Laughter directs TechOps\u2019 worldwide maintenance operations including airframe, engine, component and line. Laughter is responsible for the safe and reliable execution of all Delta maintenance as well as TechOps\u2019 growing maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) business. Laughter is responsible for over a more than $2.5B operation which is comprised of 56 maintenance stations and 7,700 employees worldwide who maintain more than 700 aircraft and service over 2,400 flights daily.\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003EPreviously, Laughter was Director, Materials \u0026amp; Planning, with responsibility for forecasting and allocation of all TechOps maintenance demand as well as management and allocation of TechOps\u0027 inventory. He also had operational responsibility for the warehousing, distribution and logistics of all TechOps inventory on the Delta network. In this role, he led multiple initiatives to streamline and optimize Delta\u2019s maintenance plan through lean maintenance and enterprise planning techniques.\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003EHe began his career in 1993 as an Aircraft Structural Engineer at Delta and held various leadership positions in the Engineering group, including Interiors Engineering and new aircraft acquisition.\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003ELaughter holds a Bachelors of Science in Aerospace Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a Masters of Business Administration from Emory University\u0027s Goizueta Business School. He also sits on the Southern Crescent Habitat for Humanity Board and served on the 2012 Campaign Cabinet for the United Way Atlanta.
