418621 news 1435237406 1475896729 <![CDATA[Student Center Visitor Lot Closing for Renovations]]> Beginning Tuesday, June 30, the Area 2 Visitor Lot adjacent to the Student Center and Smithgall Student Services Building will be closed for renovations. Construction is expected to be completed by Friday, August 14.

All vehicles must be removed from Area 2 by 11:00 p.m. on Monday, June 29. The Area 3 Visitors Parking Lot (across from Stamps Health Services and CRC) will be available during the construction.

Improvements to the lot include additional bicycle racks, enhanced vehicular and pedestrian traffic flow, as well as safety and compliance upgrades.

Special care will be given to maintain safety and reduce noise levels during finals week as well as FASET orientation sessions. Pedestrian walkways will be maintained and clearly marked around the construction site. Work hours are scheduled Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
