Laboon Award, given annually to the most outstanding co-op senior at Georgia Tech.\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003EIn his four terms with\u0026nbsp;\u003Ca href=\u0022http:\/\/www.gulfstream.com\/\u0022\u003EGulfstream Aerospace Corporation\u003C\/a\u003E, Michael worked in the Advanced Composites Research Group, Flight Test Engineering, Integration Test - the Simulation and Software Group, and Acoustics\/Vibration Test.\u0026nbsp; During his co-op experience, he received two Bronze Pride Awards given by Gulfstream for distinguished service.\u0026nbsp;\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003EMichael has served as an outstanding DoPP ambassador and as a lead coordinator for the President\u0027s Scholarship program.\u0026nbsp; He was the former president of Sigma Gamma Tau (the Aerospace honor society) and is an active member of the Briaerian Honor Society (co-op honor society).\u0026nbsp; He has been involved with numerous extra-curricular activities while at Georgia Tech.\u0026nbsp;\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003EAfter graduation, Michael will work full-time with Gulfstream Aerospace, where he plans to promote cooperative education from the employer side.\u0026nbsp; Michael is a previous recipient of the National Merit Scholarship and the President\u0027s Scholarship.\u003C\/p\u003E","summary":null,"format":"limited_html"}],"field_subtitle":"","field_summary":"","field_summary_sentence":[{"value":"AE student Michael Hodgson is the 2013 winner of the Joe T.
