Professor Brian Gunter has joined the School of Aerospace Engineering at Georgia Tech as a member of the Space System Design and Optimization Discipline Area.

Professor Gunter's specialties are in the areas of satellite geodesy, orbital mechanics, earth and planetary observation and high-performance computing. He comes to Georgia Tech from the Delft University of Technology in the Netherlands, where he was a faculty member in the Physical and Space Geodesy Group.

Professor Gunter earned a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Rice University; and an MS & PhD in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin.
