On September 17, women engineers in AE had an opportunity to attend a luncheon with three AE External Advisory Council members: Astronaut Dr. Sandra Magnus, MSE '96, Executive Director of the AIAA; Dr. Jennifer Byrne, Vice President, Aeronautics, Technical Operations for Lockheed Martin Corporation; and Leslie Livesay, Director of Engineering and Science Directorate at JPL.

Discussions at the luncheon centered on career opportunities and mentoring, and the exciting R&D activities at these organizations.
