  <title><![CDATA[AE Staff CERT Graduates]]></title>
  <body><![CDATA[<p class="rtecenter"></p><p>AE Administrative Staff members Tiwanna Williams and Michelle Hall (L-R in the photo) along with Vivian Robinson - O'Neal, successfully completed the Georgia Tech CERT (Community Emergency Response Team) course on November 11.</p><p>The CERT course benefits any citizen who takes it - making them better prepared to respond to and cope with the aftermath of a disaster. Since 1993, when this training was made available nationally by FEMA, communities in 28 states and Puerto Rico have conducted CERT training.</p><p>The training consists of:</p><ul><li>Disaster Preparedness</li><li>Disaster Fire Suppression</li><li>Disaster Medical Operations</li><li>Disaster Psychology and Team Organization</li></ul><p>The CERT course concluded with a drill at the old EPD building on 14th Street focusing on first aid, search and rescue, fire safety and triage.</p>]]></body>
