Kenneth Hart

Based on his campus activities and contributions to the aerospace industry, Kenneth Hart was selected by Aviation Week & Space Technology as one of the magazine's Twenty20's. He received this award on November 14 in a ceremony at the Arizona Biltmore on Phoenix, Arizona. The awards, produced in partnership with Raytheon Corporation, recognize top engineering, math, science and technology students.

Kenneth is a graduate student in the Daniel Guggenheim School of Aerospace Engineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology.  His research is focused on rapid computation of rarefied aerodynamics with applications to orbital debris trajectory propagation and reentry.  Kenneth earned a B.S. in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Maryland in May 2013.  Before college, Kenneth founded The South African Lacrosse Project, which teaches lacrosse and English to children affected by HIV and has reached over 500 South African children.  Kenneth was one of 5 "Twenty20's" featured in an in-depth article in Aviation Week & Space Technology.

Daniel Prosser

Daniel Prosser was also chosen as one of the Twenty20's.  He is a Ph.D. candidate in the School of AE under the supervision of Prof. Marilyn Smith.  Daniel earned his B.S. and M.S. in Mechanical Engineering at the Rochester Institute of Technology.  His research interests are in the areas of coupled aerodynamics of bluff bodies; and turbulence modeling, flapping-wing design for a dragonfly-like micro air vehicle.
