V. R. Prasad\u003C\/a\u003E\u0026nbsp;was officially recognized with an AHS Technical Fellow Award, an honor given each year for career-based accomplishments that have benefited the vertical flight community. AE alumnus Dr. Rama JankiRam, the senior manager for flight technology at the Boeing Company, was also tapped to receive this honor.\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003EGeorgia Tech Regents Professor\u0026nbsp;\u003Ca href=\u0022http:\/\/ae.gatech.edu\/community\/staff\/bio\/sankar-l\u0022\u003EDr. Lakshmi Sankar\u003C\/a\u003E\u0026nbsp;took to the podium to receive the\u0026nbsp;\u003Ca href=\u0022http:\/\/ae.gatech.edu\/node\/1366\u0022\u003EHoward Hughes Award\u003C\/a\u003E\u0026nbsp;for his collaborative research with the NRTC\/VLC High-fidelity Icing Analysis and Validation Team.
