Using illustrative examples, we will introduce the algebraic modeling features of OPTMODEL as well as the wide array of powerful new solvers for linear, mixed integer linear and non linear programming that it has direct access to. We will also demonstrate that OPTMODEL provides an intuitive high level programming environment which, when combined with the solvers, can be used to implement application specific customized algorithms and heuristics.

Speaker Bio:

Manoj Chari is Director of the Operations Research R&D department at SAS Institute.
