He is the author of four best-selling books:\u0026nbsp;\u003Cem\u003E7 Lessons for Leading in Crisis,\u003C\/em\u003E\u0026nbsp;\u003Cem\u003ETrue North,\u003C\/em\u003E\u003Cem\u003E\u0026nbsp;\u003C\/em\u003E\u003Cem\u003EFinding Your True North\u003C\/em\u003E, and\u0026nbsp;\u003Cem\u003EAuthentic Leadership\u003C\/em\u003E.\u003Cem\u003E\u0026nbsp;*\u003C\/em\u003E\u003Cstrong\u003EA book signing and sale\u003C\/strong\u003E \u003Cstrong\u003Ewill be held in the Atrium of Scheller College following his talk\u003C\/strong\u003E.\u0026nbsp;\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003EMr. George is the former chairman and chief executive officer of Medtronic and currently serves as director of ExxonMobil, Goldman Sachs, and the Mayo Clinic \u0026nbsp;(and previously on the board of Novartis and Target Corporation).\u0026nbsp; He is currently a trustee of the World Economic Forum USA and Guthrie Theater and a former Trustee of Carnegie Endowment for International Peace. \u0026nbsp;He has served as board chair for Allina Health System, Abbott-Northwestern Hospital, United Way of the Greater Twin Cities, and Advamed.
