The event is held at the Classic Center at Athens, Georgia and is the premier state event bringing together experts who provide information on how teachers and schools can prepare K-12 students for 21st Century workplace careers through high quality educational opportunities in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) fields. Joyce Allen presented two workshops entitled: \u003Cem\u003ENanoscale Science and Engineering (NSE) Resources for Grades 3-12. \u003C\/em\u003EThe workshops focused on activities that can be used to conduct a Family Science Night on nanoscale science and engineering. In addition, IEN had an exhibit booth for the distribution of nanotechnology-focused education resources.
