On those days, the sun\u0027s energy will overload the satellite receiver and cause signal loss for a few minutes.This will cause brief outages of selected GTCN channels for the duration of the interference.\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003EThis year, the interference is predicted to occur from October 4th-12th from approximately 4:00pm to 5:30pm each day. Individual channels will be impacted for an average of 10 minutes after which time service should be restored.
