However, because of a surge of donations received in the last week, organizers are extending the campaign.\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003E\u0022We have made some good progress in the last couple of weeks,\u0022 said campaign co-chair Ralph Mobley. \u0022The Tech community has donated roughly $112,000 in that time, for a total of $225,000.\u0022\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003EMobley said that the campaign will continue through next week, adding that people will be able to donate through TechWorks until Friday, Dec. 11. \u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003EEach year, Georgia Tech participates in the statewide Charitable Contributions Program. For the last two years, Tech has won the Governor\u0027s Cup, signifying the highest donation per capita for an organization of its size.
