The latest IPaT Star awardees are Leanne West, Georgia Tech\u0026#39;s Chief Engineer for Pediatric Technologies, and Clint Zeagler, Research Scientist with the Interactive Media Technology Center (IMTC).\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EZeagler has been instrumental in the development and promotion of Georgia Tech\u0026#39;s \u003Ca href=\u0022http:\/\/wcc.gatech.edu\u0022 target=\u0022_blank\u0022\u003EWearable Computing Center.\u003C\/a\u003E He and School of Interactive Computing professor Thad Starner curated a traveling wearable computing exhibition, \u003Cem\u003EMeeting the Challenge: The Path Towards a Consumer Wearable Computer. \u003C\/em\u003EIt was displayed at the Computer History Museum in Mountain View, California and other locations around the world, and experienced by thousands, including heads of state. Zeagler also co-authored a companion \u003Ca href=\u0022http:\/\/wcc.gatech.edu\/content\/e-book-meeting-challenge-path-towards-consumer-wearable-computer\u0022 target=\u0022_blank\u0022\u003Ee-book\u003C\/a\u003E which includes a collection of interviews from experts in the field of wearable computing. These efforts brought a lot of publicity to the Wearable Computing Center.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\r\n\u003Cbr \/\u003E\r\nZeagler also conceived, planned and organized the annual \u003Ca href=\u0022http:\/\/wcc.gatech.edu\/content\/wcc-forum-2015\u0022 target=\u0022_blank\u0022\u003EWearable Computing Center Forum\u003C\/a\u003E, which attracted hundreds of attendees this year.West was nominated, in part, for her efforts in working closely with Children\u0026#39;s Healthcare of Atlanta. She leads the Quick Wins program, a partnership between Georgia Tech and Children\u0026#39;s which focuses on grand challenges, such as pediatric device innovation, with a turnaround time of 18 months or less. The partnership has generated several projects, including the \u003Ca href=\u0022http:\/\/www.news.gatech.edu\/2015\/11\/04\/ieat-application-helps-treat-children-feeding-disorders\u0022 target=\u0022_blank\u0022\u003EiEAT app\u003C\/a\u003E for pediatric feeding disorders, and the \u003Ca href=\u0022http:\/\/ipat.gatech.edu\/%E2%80%98talk-me-baby%E2%80%99-app-available-summer\u0022 target=\u0022_blank\u0022\u003ETalk With Me Baby\u003C\/a\u003E app, which encourages parents to talk with the children at an early age.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\r\n\u003Cbr \/\u003E\r\nWest also manages the partnership between Georgia Tech and the Centers for Disease Control, alongside Managing Director of Health Research Partnerships Sherry Farrugia.
