  <title><![CDATA[Ed Developers Find Inroads in Defense-Focused ‘Serious Games’ Awards]]></title>
  <body><![CDATA[<p>Underneath the high-crested lights of the&nbsp;<a class="external" href="http://sgschallenge.com/" target="_blank">Serious Games Showcase &amp; Challenge</a>&nbsp;(SGS&amp;C) showroom that sprawled several football fields last month, 28 game developer teams, including several educational producers, competed for a little recognition and prize money.</p><p>A Georgia Tech team represented by Aditya Anupam and Ridhima Gupta, an M.S. student in the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering and an M.S. student in the College of Computing (CoC)/School of Literature, Media, and Communication (LMC) respectively, received the Students' Choice Award for&nbsp;<a href="http://learnqm.gatech.edu/">Particle in a Box</a>, their educational game on quantum mechanics, which they presented at this event.&nbsp;</p>]]></body>
