The study would gather data on traffic patterns on Memorial from Candler Road to Capitol Avenue.\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003EThe proposed study is part of the Imagine Memorial Project, an initiative that may someday lead to improvements to the Memorial Drive corridor.\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003EThe Imagine Memorial Drive Project first started as a graduate project for an urban planning class at Georgia Tech. It was spearheaded by Councilperson Natalyn Archibong and SCaRP professor Mike Dobbins, who previously served as an Atlanta Planning Commissioner.\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003EAfter nearly three decades of failed attempts to redevelop the corridor, there is now more forward momentum to get these projects off the ground.
