MacArthur genius award winner Michelle Dorrance brings her award-winning tap dance company to the Ferst Center. Dorrance Dance honors tap dance’s uniquely beautiful history while pushing tap forward rhythmically, aesthetically, and conceptually. Street, club, and experimental dance forms all awaken to the sound of furious rhythms, demonstrating why the work of Dorrance Dance has garnered critical acclaim for “blasting open our notions of tap.”This performance is presented as part of the Arts@Tech 2015-16 Season.
