<![CDATA[Cash Only Deposits at Campus VTS Machines]]>
In order to comply with federally mandated EMV rules and to better serve the campus community, BuzzCard will be updating the Value Transfer Stations (VTS).Beginning Monday Oct. 19, 2015 all BuzzCard VTS machines will only accept cash deposits. BuzzCard VTS machines will be upgraded to EMV compliance software and hardware later this year. Students, faculty, and staff wishing to make credit card deposits may do so in person at the BuzzCard Center located in Barnes & Noble @ Georgia Tech or online through the BuzzCard account.
EMV, short for Europay, Mastercard, and Visa, is a secure payment standard designed to reduce fraud in face-to-face card present purchases by using the chip embedded in payment cards.
