A few examples of universally designed application will be introduced to illustrate the outcome when UD meets human-computer interaction.

TASK - 15min. : Put on impairments simulation kit to experience the technology as if you were have a disability. Work in groups or as individuals(depends on how many people are attending) to use an app or web site to try to identify 3 design features that you think is universally designed of the app/web site you pick. Also, identify 3 design features you think will be problematic for people with disability. We’ll discuss the findings in Q&A session.
