{"497441":{"#nid":"497441","#data":{"type":"event","title":"The Cosmic Ballet of Black Holes \u0026 Gravitational Waves","body":[{"value":"\u003Cp\u003EOne hundred years after Einstein\u2019s formulation of General Relativity, Advanced LIGO has detected for the first time gravitational waves, ripples in the fabric of spacetime that are produced by\u0026nbsp;cataclysmic astrophysical event.\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp;\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003E1.3 billion years ago, two black holes\u0026nbsp;inspiraled and merged, releasing a power that is 50 times that of the visible universe, in the form of gravitational waves.
