An assistant professor for the School of Computer Science in the College of Computing at the Georgia Institute of Technology, he is affiliated with the Algorithms and Randomness Center (ARC) at Georgia Tech. His main research interests are in the design, analysis, and implementation of efficient algorithms. Prior to arriving to Georgia Tech, Peng was an instructor in applied math at Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Microsoft Research Fellow.
