As part of a multi-year project funded with a $300,000 National Science Foundation grant, researchers will address the Internet identity problem with new protocols such as RPKI (Resource Public Key Infrastructure.) \u201cWe know it\u2019s easy to lie on the Internet,\u201d Russ Clark, a senior research scientist in the School of Computer Science at Georgia Tech, said in the statement. \u201cIt happens because of a weakness in the trust relationship between routing protocols.
