  <body><![CDATA[<p>Dr. Bruce Walker has been appointed a General Advisory Committee member and Technical Format Review Advisory Committee member for DIAGRAM Center.&nbsp; DIAGRAM, stands for Digital Image and Graphic Resources for Accessible Materials.  Established in 2010, DIAGRAM Center is a research and development center funded by the U.S. Dept. of Education’s Office of Special Education Programs as part of the Office’s initiative to expand its work in creating new technologies and communities for accessible education.&nbsp; The newly funded Committees will assist with building upon the successes of the original DIAGRAM Center to explore new technology applications for a broader range of content and for a wider range of audiences, including students with disabilities beyond those traditionally associated with print disabilities. &nbsp;For more information about DIAGRAM Center, please see <a id="LPlnk306522" href="http://diagramcenter.org/about.html" target="_blank">http://diagramcenter.org/about.html</a>.&nbsp; </p>]]></body>
