Science Olympiad fosters team building and critical thinking skills that are essential for understanding and solving current complex problems. Now for the second consecutive year, \u003Ca class=\u0022links\u0022 href=\u0022http:\/\/ceismc.gatech.edu\u0022 target=\u0022_self\u0022\u003ECEISMC\u003C\/a\u003E, a unit in the \u003Ca class=\u0022links\u0022 href=\u0022http:\/\/cos.gatech.edu\u0022 target=\u0022_blank\u0022\u003ECollege of Sciences\u003C\/a\u003E, lead the concerted effort of hosting the tournament with a talented team of volunteers headed by Co-Directors Jean Anderson and Gustavia Evans. The seventeen participating teams were nearly twice as many as attended last year\u2019s competition. Teams usually consisted of 15 students who participated in a combination of 23 different events that focused on different fields.
