The conference was\u003Cbr \/\u003E\norganized in cooperation with ACM SIGCHI and took place January 8-10,\u003Cbr \/\u003E\n2008.\u003C\/p\u003E\n\u003Cp\u003E\u003C\/p\u003E\n\u003Cp\u003EMark Riedl joined the School of\u003Cbr \/\u003E\nInteractive Computing as an Assistant Professor in December 2007. Prior to that,\u003Cbr \/\u003E\nhe was a research scientist at the University of Southern California Institute\u003Cbr \/\u003E\nfor Creative Technologies. In 2004, he received a Ph.D. in Computer Science\u003Cbr \/\u003E\nfrom North Carolina\u003Cbr \/\u003E\n State University\u003Cbr \/\u003E\nfor his work in artificial intelligence techniques for generating stories with\u003Cbr \/\u003E\nrecognizable plot structures and character fidelity.\u003C\/p\u003E\n\u003Cp\u003E\u003C\/p\u003E\n\u003Cp\u003EAbout INTETAIN\u003Cbr \/\u003EThe Second International Conference on Intelligent\u003Cbr \/\u003E\nTechnologies for Interactive Entertainment (INTETAIN-2008), held in cooperation\u003Cbr \/\u003E\nwith ACM SIGCHI, aimed to stimulate interaction among academic researchers and\u003Cbr \/\u003E\ncommercial developers of interactive entertainment systems.
