{"513301":{"#nid":"513301","#data":{"type":"news","title":"Become a Leadership Fellow","body":[{"value":"\u003Cp class=\u0022p1\u0022\u003EThe Office of Leadership Education and Development in the Division of Student Life is recruiting faculty and staff to serve as Leadership Fellows.\u0026nbsp;\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp class=\u0022p5\u0022\u003EFellows serve as coaches for Georgia Tech students and also have the chance to strengthen their own leadership skills.\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp class=\u0022p5\u0022\u003E\u201cMy sessions with students are extremely rewarding in that, every time we meet, I am able to share in their accomplishments as leaders,\u201d said Michelle Cohen Segall, health educator in Health Promotion and a Leadership Fellow. \u201cWitnessing students\u2019 personal growth and enhanced self-awareness is a unique opportunity. Leadership is typically seen as positional; this program has shown me that I can be a leader regardless of my position in an organization.\u201d\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp class=\u0022p5\u0022\u003ECoaches are matched with students who are also eager to develop their leadership abilities. Coaches should be able to commit about four to five hours per week to the program,\u0026nbsp; and ongoing training is provided.\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp class=\u0022p5\u0022\u003EThe application deadline is Friday, March 18.
