{"51454":{"#nid":"51454","#data":{"type":"news","title":"Computing Professor and Student Win Best Paper Award for Study on Usefulness of Web Lectures","body":[{"value":"\u003Cp\u003E(July 6, 2007) - Interactive Computing Professor James Foley and Computer Science Grad Student Jason Day have won the IEEE Education Society\u0027s 2007 Best Transactions Paper Award for a paper titled \u0022Evaluating a Web Lecture Intervention in a Human-Computer Interaction Course,\u0022 published in the November 2006 issue of IEEE Transactions on Education.\u003C\/p\u003E\n\u003Cp\u003EThe paper presents research that shows the use of Web lectures enhanced the classroom learning\u00a0 experience in an introductory human-computer interaction course.
