Admission is now accepting applications for its African-American Recruitment Team (ART), which plays a vital role in the undergraduate recruitment process. Team members help connect prospective black/African-American students with current students to provide authentic campus visits and give students and families a glimpse of the community that awaits them.

“ART was the first organization that helped connect me to the community on campus and showed me some of the different opportunites on campus and in college,” said Dejon Tebought, ART president. “It gives many prospective students a person who looks like them to connect with so they can better see themselves on campus.”

ART members must have completed one year of coursework at Tech by the end of this semester and be passionate about highlighting the campus experience from a minority perspective. Students can expect to build their own skill set by being part of ART.

“Being part of ART has given me a sense of pride in Georgia Tech and the things we have to offer, as well as leadership and communication skills for working with others that will.
