This prestigious award enabled her to visit the Warsaw School of Economics (SGH), one of the premier institution in the field of economics in Poland, and collaborate with the World Economy Research Institute (WERI) in program development and research.\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003ENair-Reichert was a guest speaker in courses on multinational firms and innovation in the newly introduced \u201cGlobal Business, Finance and Governance\u201d field at SGH, and she interfaced with faculty on further program development in this area. She is conducting research on innovation ecosystems and innovation strategies of firms in transition economies, and is collaborating with experts in the field from Poland.\u0026nbsp;\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003ENair-Reichert was also the keynote speaker at the conference \u201cNew Forms of Innovation and Their Impact on Competitiveness: Enterprise, Industry and Country Perspective\u201d organized by WERI in Warsaw, and was invited to present her research at the International Warsaw Invention Show.\u0026nbsp;\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp class=\u0022xmsonormal\u0022\u003EThe Fulbright Specialist\u0027s Program provides highly competitive, merit-based grants\u0026nbsp;to qualified U.S. faculty and professionals in select disciplines, to engage in short-term collaborative projects.\u0026nbsp;Shorter grant lengths give Specialists greater flexibility to pursue projects that work best with their current academic or professional commitments. The program promotes linkages between U.S. scholars and professionals and their counterparts at host institutions overseas, and strives to increase mutual understanding between the people of the United States and other countries.\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003E\u003Cem\u003EGeorgia Tech\u2019s\u0026nbsp;Ivan Allen College of Liberal Arts\u0026nbsp;is recognized nationally and internationally for teaching and research\u0026nbsp;examining the human context of\u0026nbsp;engineering, science, and technology. The College is comprised of six schools \u2500 Economics; History and Sociology; The Sam Nunn School of International Affairs; Literature, Media, and Communication; Modern Languages; Public Policy; and Georgia Tech\u2019s Army, Air Force, and Navy ROTC units. It offers ten bachelor\u2019s of science, six master\u2019s, and six doctoral degrees.
