The main goal of the proposed product\nmonitoring framework is to cut down the product repair\/service costs, boost the\nrecovery of end-of-life products, and curtail the product disposal rate. The\ntalk focuses on personal computers to demonstrate the approach; however the\nconcepts and methods presented herein are equally applicable to a wide variety\nof consumer products.
