Researchers found that those who smoked or were exposed to secondhand smoke were more likely to have difficulty getting pregnant or enter menopause before age 50. The researchers looked at data from over 88,700 women in the US who had enrolled in the Women’s Health Initiative Observational Study between 1993 and 1998.
