She will share her experience working across Africa on meningitis, pneumonia, Ebola vaccine trials, surveillance and prevention projects, as well as in China on Beijing\u0026#39;s SARS emergency response, and the importance of collaboration in building strong supply chains and health systems around the world.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EMichelle Nunn has spent 25 years in civic and public service, as a social entrepreneur, a nonprofit CEO and a candidate for U.S. Senate in Georgia. Michelle will share reflections on CARE\u0026rsquo;s work fighting global poverty and providing lifesaving assistance in emergencies such as the Syrian refugee crisis, and ongoing turmoil in Yemen and Sudan, as well as disaster response efforts in places affecting by natural disasters due to El Ni\u0026ntilde;o.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EDr. Sanjay Gupta is the multiple Emmy award winning chief medical correspondent for CNN. Gupta, a practicing neurosurgeon, plays an integral role in CNN\u0026#39;s reporting on health and medical news for all of CNN\u0026#39;s shows domestically and internationally, and contributes to CNN.com. His medical training and public health policy experience distinguishes his reporting from war zones and natural disasters, as well as on a range of medical and scientific topics, including the recent Ebola outbreak, brain injury, disaster recovery, health care reform, fitness, military medicine, and HIV\/AIDS.
