Project One is a campus-wide project that seeks to connect first-year Georgia Tech students to faculty, mentors, and organizations for a shared learning experience. The program encourages students to express their individuality, creativity, and ambitions for the future by developing multi-media projects while exploring topics central to the Georgia Tech community.\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003EFor this year\u2019s Project One, our theme is \u201cResilience.\u201d Resilience is about more than just survival, it\u2019s about learning and changing and growing\u2014all qualities that our incoming students will experience during their journeys here at Georgia Tech. Project One will offer film screenings, discussions, and speakers, covering topics from \u003Cem\u003EThe Martian\u003C\/em\u003E to Beyonc\u00e9\u2019s \u003Cem\u003ELemonade\u003C\/em\u003E, offering an opportunity for first-year students to participate in discussions around what resilience means for individuals, systems, and communities. The project will culminate in a spring film festival, where students will have the chance to create their own multimedia project about resilience.\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003EAll first-year students are encouraged to become active participants in Project One and to attend our film screenings and other events throughout the year.
