We know that parents have many questions about this move, and we want to provide some of the answers. New freshmen may move in on August 18, and all other residents move in August 20. When students are packing, they (and their parents) should use our \u003Ca href=\u0022http:\/\/housing.gatech.edu\/techlife\/Items%20to%20Bring\/Pages\/default.aspx\u0022\u003E\u003Cem\u003EItems to Bring\u003C\/em\u003E\u003C\/a\u003E page for suggestions.\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003EAfter the first week of July, residents should be able to view their room assignment and roommate(s) information in the online \u003Ca href=\u0022https:\/\/login.gatech.edu\/cas\/login?service=https%3a%2f%2fstarrez.housing.gatech.edu%2fstarrezportal%2fSite%2fGATECH%2fCAS.aspx\u0022\u003Eapplication\u003C\/a\u003E. If a room change is desired, he\/she can do this using the Room Swap tab in the \u003Ca href=\u0022https:\/\/login.gatech.edu\/cas\/login?service=https%3a%2f%2fstarrez.housing.gatech.edu%2fstarrezportal%2fSite%2fGATECH%2fCAS.aspx\u0022\u003Eapplication\u003C\/a\u003E. It is best if all room changes are completed online prior to checking out the room key.
