About this Lecture:
Seminar participants will explore the impact of myth, stereotype, and stigma on ADHD in African American college students and discuss the development of a cross-cultural assistance approach. Participants will also engage in case discussions that incorporates psycho-social and cross-cultural interventions and examine new medication advances for the treatment of AD/HD. 

About Disability Awareness Days:
Each year ADAPTS hosts a series of events over several days with the goal of to promoting heightened awareness, acceptance, and understanding of persons with disabilities within the Georgia Tech community. This year’s theme, "Exploring the Relativity of Normal," was selected to give the Tech community an opportunity to investigate the qualitative and quantitative constructs of ability.
