Carlos Santamarina is a Professor of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology, where he holds the Goizueta Foundation Faculty Chair, and is also the co-director of the \u003Ca href=\u0022http:\/\/geosystems.ce.gatech.edu\/researchcenters\/cagr.html\u0022\u003ECenter for Applied Geomaterials Research\u003C\/a\u003E.
