  <title><![CDATA[Instrument Grant Supports Nanomaterials Research]]></title>
  <body><![CDATA[<p>Georgia Tech’s School of Materials Science and Engineering has received an award through the Micromeritics Instrument Grant program. The ASAP 2020 Accelerated Surface Area and Porosimetry System will be used to support ground-breaking nanomaterials research. <br /><br />The School of Materials Science and Engineering conducts research in a number of areas including ionic transport in microporous solids, porous electrodes for fuel cells, nanomaterials for sensors, porous polymer and gas separation membranes and nanomaterials for the semiconductor industry. According to Gleb Yushin, an assistant professor in the school and principal investigator for the grant, the equipment will provide a critical analytical tool for supporting this ongoing research.</p>]]></body>
