{"557371":{"#nid":"557371","#data":{"type":"news","title":"Bus Route Changes Could Affect Employee Metro Transit Passes","body":[{"value":"\u003Cp class=\u0022p1\u0022\u003EStarting in September, two common commuter bus routes are switching transit agencies: from Cobb County Transit (CCT) and Gwinnett County Transit (GCT) to Georgia Regional Transportation Authority (GRTA).\u0026nbsp;\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp class=\u0022p5\u0022\u003EThe change will affect some customers who purchase transit passes through payroll deduction. Routes affected include:\u0026nbsp;\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cul\u003E\u003Cli\u003ECobb County Transit Route 481 from Town Center to Midtown.\u003C\/li\u003E\u003Cli\u003EGwinnett County Transit Route 412 from Sugarloaf Mills to Midtown.\u003C\/li\u003E\u003C\/ul\u003E\u003Cp class=\u0022p5\u0022\u003EBoth routes are switching to GRTA beginning Sept. 6. Customers using either of those routes will now need to purchase GRTA passes rather than CCT or GCT passes. All changes to payroll deduction purchases must be made in Techworks by Aug. 4 in order to take effect for September passes.\u0026nbsp;\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp class=\u0022p5\u0022\u003EQuestions can be referred to the payroll department in the Office of Human Resources at 404-894-4614.\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp class=\u0022p5\u0022\u003EOther routes are also undergoing changes beginning Sept. 6.
