Tech titled its grant application \u0022Innovative,\nSustainable and Secure: Education and Research as Keys to Global Growth\nand Competitiveness.\u0022\u003C\/p\u003E\n\n\u003Cp\u003E\u0026nbsp; Administratively located within Georgia Tech College of\nManagement, GT CIBER serves as a catalyst to integrate international\nbusiness into the curriculum and works to ensure the long-term\ninternational competitiveness of the United States through support of\nresearch, business education initiatives, and corporate outreach\nactivities.\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003E\nCollege of Management Dean Steve Salbu says, \u0022I\nhave numerous friends who have headed up CIBERS around the country, and\nthey all sing the praises of GT CIBER for its excellence,\ncontributions, and achievements over the years.\u0026nbsp; I couldn\u2019t be happier\nto see this excellent center continue its fine work.\u0022\u003C\/p\u003E\n\n\n\u003Cp\u003E\u0026nbsp;The CIBER network links the manpower and technological needs\nof the United States business community with the international\neducation, language training, and research capacities of universities\nacross the country.\u0026nbsp;\u003C\/p\u003E\n\u003Cp\u003ECongress created CIBER centers in 1988 under the Omnibus Trade\nand Competitiveness Act in order to increase America\u0027s international\ncompetitiveness and understanding.
