Petit Institute for Bioengineering and Bioscience\u003C\/a\u003E, has been appointed to the \u003Ca href=\u0022http:\/\/public.csr.nih.gov\/StudySections\/IntegratedReviewGroups\/BDCNIRG\/CNNT\/Pages\/default.aspx\u0022\u003EClinical Neuroplasticity and Neurotransmitters\u003C\/a\u003E (CNNT) Study Section at the \u003Ca href=\u0022http:\/\/public.csr.nih.gov\/Pages\/default.aspx\u0022\u003ECenter for Scientific Review\u003C\/a\u003E, a branch of the \u003Ca href=\u0022https:\/\/www.nih.gov\/\u0022\u003ENational Institutes of Health\u003C\/a\u003E (NIH).\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp dir=\u0022ltr\u0022\u003E According to NIH, the CNNT Study Section \u003Ca href=\u0022http:\/\/public.csr.nih.gov\/StudySections\/IntegratedReviewGroups\/BDCNIRG\/CNNT\/Pages\/default.aspx\u0022\u003E\u201creviews applications describing small animal and subhuman primate models of epilepsy, neurodegeneration (Parkinson\u2019s disease, Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis, diabetic neuropathies) and spinal cord injury.\u201d\u003C\/a\u003E\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp dir=\u0022ltr\u0022\u003E \u0022I see study section service as an important responsibility,\u201d Cope says. \u201cIt\u0027s also a valuable opportunity to learn how fields are trending and to stay up with conceptual and technical advances.\u201d\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp dir=\u0022ltr\u0022\u003ECope will serve on the study section until June 30, 2020.
