562621 event 1471256073 1492118109 <![CDATA[Round 1 Prototype Award Application Deadline]]> Prototype Awards of up to $500 each will be given to select students to assist with prototype construction. In order to be considered for an award, students must provide both an itemized budget and a statement (500 words max.) answering the question: "How will a Prototype Award help me or my team win the InVenture Prize?"

All application materials must be submitted through the online form by November 11 for Round 1 of the Prototype Awards. Applicants must complete the Invention Details section of InVenture Prize registration prior to the deadline in order to be considered for an award. Awards will be made on a rolling basis. Awards can only be used to buy materials and supplies for prototype construction.
