{"56443":{"#nid":"56443","#data":{"type":"news","title":"IBB Community, GT President \u0026 Friends Gather for Petit Scholars Dinner","body":[{"value":"\u003Cp\u003EThe IBB Community, new Georgia Tech President, G.P. \u0022Bud\u0022 Peterson and Friends of the Petit Institute gathered to raise funds for undergraduate research program and to honor Parker H. \u0022Pete\u0022 Petit for his many contributions to the success of the Institute. \n\u003C\/p\u003E\n\u003Cp\u003EThe evening included introductory remarks from Dr. Peterson as well as featured guest speaker, Bill Hawkins, Chief Executive Officer of Medtronic Inc., whose talk was entitled, \u0022Climate Change: Opportunities for the Medical Device Industry in the \u0027Sunshine\u0027 Age.\u0022  \n\u003C\/p\u003E\n\u003Cp\u003EAdditionally, IBB\u0027s undergraduate research program was renamed the \u003Cstrong\u003EParker H.
