The Sprint National Championships consists of a 750-meter swim, 20-kilometer bike and 5-kilometer run. Only a day prior, Douglas finished second overall in the Olympic-distance race\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EDouglas is a research assistant in the Ben T. Zinn Combustion Laboratory at Georgia Tech.
