These hikes are scheduled close to Atlanta so you can get up, get out, and get home before lunch on Saturday, and still have time for the rest of your busy weekend.

Sweetwater Creek State Park is only minutes from downtown Atlanta. Join us along wooded trails that follow a spirited stream to the ruins of the New Manchester Manufacturing Company, a textile mill burned during the Civil War. Trails climb rocky bluffs to provide views of beautiful rapids below and wind through fields and forest. Enjoy unique flora and fauna in the area, including: ferns, amphibians, wild azaleas and reptiles. Optional: Join us for a stand-up paddle boarding lesson on Sweetwater Lake immediately following.
