At 7:55 p.m. Friday, the space shuttle Endeavour is scheduled to blast off from Cape Canaveral in Florida. Among those onboard will be Shane Kimbrough, 41, who grew up in Smyrna. Shane graduated from the Lovett School and the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, and earned his master's of science degree in operations research from the Georgia Tech.
