The conference took place in Helsinki, Finland. Prof. Besedeš presented his paper “Phase out Tariff, Phase in Trade?” which looks at whether different speeds in reductions of tariffs that took place after NAFTA have a differential impact on the growth of U.S. imports from NAFTA trading partners.
