  <title><![CDATA[Goodman Participates in IEEE Intelligence and Security Informatics Conference]]></title>
  <body><![CDATA[<p>Seymour Goodman, professor in the <a href="http://www.iac.gatech.edu/">Ivan Allen College</a> <a href="http://www.inta.gatech.edu/">Sam Nunn School of International Affairs</a>, participated in the 2016 Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) Intelligence and Security Informatics (ISI) conference, which took place in Tucson, Arizona from September 28 -&nbsp;30, 2016.</p>

<p>In keeping with the conference&rsquo;s theme of &ldquo;cybersecurity and big data,&rdquo; Goodman gave a presentation entitled &ldquo;<em>Critical Infrastructures and The Well-Being</em>.&rdquo; In addition, he served as a moderator on the &ldquo;Cybersecurity Education&rdquo; Panel.</p>

<p>The ISI conference showcases interdisciplinary research involving academic researchers in information technologies, computer science, public policy, bioinformatics, medical informatics, and social and behavior studies; local, state, and federal law enforcement and intelligence experts; and information technology industry consultants and practitioners. &nbsp;</p>
